The Canon 6D’s shutter is designed to have about 150,000 actuations, but going over this limit doesn’t mean the camera will stop working right away. High shutter counts won’t affect how well the camera works as long as it’s taken care of. Going over the shutter limit won’t cause quick wear if the camera is kept in good shape.
